Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council is the main deliberative body of the parish which shares with the pastor the primary responsibility for the pastoral life of the parish and whose purpose is to plan for the future of the parish by recommending policies, procedures, and programs which will enable the parish to fulfill its mission.
Canon 536 – “After the diocesan bishop has listened to the presbyterial council and if he judges it opportune, a pastoral council is to be established in each parish; the pastor presides over it, and through it the Christian faithful along with those who share in the pastoral care of the parish in virtue of their office, give their help in fostering pastoral activity.”
The mission of the Holy Spirit Parish Pastoral Council is to serve the parish and its pastor in shared responsibility for the life of the parish.
